Canadian premiere?

Hello hello, I've been browsing this board and realize that probably almost all, if not entirely all, of you are from some part in the UK. I checked the release date page and saw that IMDb only has this movie listed as having a UK release. I'm Canadian (if you haven't guessed already) and I just watched this last night on a channel called TVO, and was wondering if anyone else watched it or knows if this was the Canadian premiere of the TV movie? It was amazing by the way, truly inspiring. I have a younger brother with disabilities, so I definately know how David felt.
