A misunderstood masterpiece?

In hindsight, separate from the incessant blatherings of opposing comic fanboys, do you think this is perhaps a misunderstood cinematic masterpiece?

reply

NO...

reply

What is there to misunderstand?

reply

Surely Joss Whedon version improved the Snyder planned movie

reply

WE WILL SOON KNOW...SNYDER IS PREPPING HIS VERSION FOR RELEASE NEXT YEAR.

reply

Whedon ruined it. Maybe he could have made a good Justice League movie by himself, but it wouldn't have fit with Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman. Justice League suffered from one too many directors. Either one by himself would have done better.

reply

Anyone would have ruined it. It was a train wreck when Whedon stepped in. He did what he could but fixing things isn't really his forte.

reply

I take it that Whedon also ruined MOS and BVS. Oh.. It must been some zombie who made those shit films.

reply

No, and for context I don't dislike this movie. But let's be realistic. WB butchered this movie.

reply

No, its a cluster fuck of a movie and so will snyderscut , 3 hours of pure dull broody edgy superheros no less when its released , plus the dceu fan base is as toxic as they come

reply

There is no DCEU fan base. There's the Nolan fan boys who think nothing measures up to the Dark Knight Rises, and the frustrated DC fans who wanted this to be better. The Marvel fan base is toxic. DC fans typically like both.

reply

what do you mean there is no dceu fan base, yes there is , dceu and snydercultists are the most toxic people I have met , filmgob , movieworld express , alfz , amazonheroicon to name a small few, putrid people , disgusting fan base wishing death on people and bully's

reply

Yeah, the DCEU fanbase are the people who generally believe all the weird conspiracy theories about the MCU. Marvel fans tend to like DC movies when they're good (i.e. Wonderwoman, Aquaman, etc.).

reply

Pretty much. As DC fan of the actually comics, i would like them to be good.

reply

I don't know. I find Snyder fans to be a lot more toxic than Marvel fans. Marvel fans at this point don't have anything that much to complain about. Snyder fans are always complaining about how nobody understands them or Snyder. They cant take criticism of there shitty favorite films.

reply

Masterpiece?!I just watched this movie yesterday. For the first time. WOW, um...yeah. It's bad.

The effects alone ruin this movie. Take you right out of the movie. You can't get invested in a big action scene when it doesn't even feel like the actors themselves are there. Fake backgrounds, physics that is all wrong - the impact of the punches or characters being thrown just looks wrong - there is so much going on with the visuals here that you can't get invested in it.

That's completely ignoring the story, which is just all over the map. It's an intro to 3 new characters, a Superman Returns movie, and their attempt to make an "End Game" kinda story. Way too much too soon - and all at once.

reply

lol

reply

Batman v Superman was the misunderstood masterpiece. Batman was fierce in that.

Justice League was a jumbled mess.

reply

Bvs was a masterpiece, sorry dude but u are deluded, that was just as bad as justice league

reply

ANGRY OLD MURDERING BATMAN IS THE ONLY GOOD THING FROM THAT FLICK.🦇

reply

I'm quite fond of the scene where they stop fighting when they find out they have the same name for there mothers , maaaaaaaarthaaaaa just epic

reply

No, it's an understood garbage fire, but it still has its fans.

reply

Bingo , this guy gets it
