I thought it was pretty good.

Still not as good as many of the Marvel movies but it was decent. I like Superman and Wonder Woman. I didn't care for Flash, I don't like Affleck and Bat Man and Aqua Man.....he was all right.

WW and Sup have the best chance of being stars the way Iron Man is with Downey Jr., Captain America is with Chris Evans, Thor is with the guy that plays him. Those characters just seem to be better written and the actors really bring those characters to life.

The Christian Bale Bat Man movies were really good. I'm not sure why many DC films seem to miss the mark.

I liked this film ok. It was better (to me) than some of their past films.

I thought this movie was decent (at least compared to Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman) but still didn't enjoy it as much as any of the Marvel movies really. Marvel just seems to have the golden touch.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you say the Marvel characters are better written and the actors bring those characters to life. I think the reason they work so well is that Marvel has done such a good job of humanizing those characters. I've said before that on paper, Thor isn't a character I'd care about but Chris Hemsworth portrayal is so down to earth and likable that it's easy to become invested in him. I sadly can't say the same for any of the DC characters in Justice League (Although I was a huge fan of the Nolan films and the Michael Keaton Batman films as well).

I hate Thor and the Avenger movies. At least this wasn't as annoying as those and I don't know how the goofiness of them translates to 'humanizing'.

Yes, Marvel Films have done a much better job of bringing characters off the page and making them work for the screen than DC has. Part of that is good writing, part is good casting, and part is figuring out which characters are working the best and bringing them to the forefront. Their Thor is much more fun than anyone thought he'd be and Captain America is way more interesting in the film's than the comics, so those guys get their own series of films and Hawkeye doesn't.

So far the only DC character who's been well written, well cast, and widely embraced is Wonder Woman. Superman and Batman we're supposed to be the cornerstones of this new franchise, but apparently both roles are being recast. Which is IMHO yet another terrible decision, the writers are the ones who should be losing their jobs.

Without spoiling anything ill just say that the final scene on the boat means the next JL movie should be amazing

I enjoyed it as well. I agree that DC movies don't seem to be as well written as the Marvel ones. I still enjoy the DC movies though. I Love Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. As a fan of the '70s Wonder Woman TV show there is still a love spot for Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman in my heart. Even though they are the same "character" the character has changed over the years. IMHO the modern more classic Greek Amazon WW is a lot better than the 1970s "Comic" WW. She is a lot sexier also.
