who are these over the top action computer cartoons aimed at?

I seriously want to know the target audience for this? I'm sure it will make a billion dollars like they all do, but from whom? Who does this appeal to?

Asking because they are starting to look like white noise: so much all of everything in one place, blurring together into one solid color of uninterest.

Over the top, computer based, insane, silly, unrealistic action - who connects with that? Here we go saving the entire planet, once again from whatever... too many characters to learn to care about any of them.

So, it is obviously not marketed to me - I enjoy most Nolan flicks, and anything else that is mentally interesting written, and NOT completely blown over the top trying to beat the last completely blown over the top super hero movie. I've seen a couple: Iron Man was good and Wonder Woman want bad until the 3rd act when all Street Fighter game.

Loud explosions and noise is where it's at these days for the near billion dollar profits made movies. So much that you get bored of it and the constant CRSASH HBZZHAHSH BOOOM KASSCHHAA. Literally turns you docile after awhile if not a bit sleepy (though some battle scenes are nice). This is why Hollywood has sold out to China to make up loses on domestic sales.

So, is china all gaga over these types of films? Don't they make any of their own? Or we do it better, maybe

No way China has the capacity to make CGI and explosions at the level as extreme as Hollywood made movies. The most expensive Chinese productions still clock under $100mil. And not every year they can churn out these kind of movies.
