She seemed like a total punk. Especially after she lied and said her mother was driving drunk. And her mother is a good example of what is wrong with parenting these days. If it were me, I would have first called the cops on Tori's mother, who had no right to keep her daughter there. Then shoved the report in her face, the one from the cops after the accident, since if she had been drunk, she would have been arrested there.
shareI know I am four years in replying but Tori' s mom was totally in the wrong for keeping her daughter. You can tell she wants to be the " cool " mom who let's her daughter do anything. I was upset when she told Sam, "....your mom was here, she wanted me to fink on you..." Seriously? Siding with a child?
I've watched this movie I don't know how many times but I can't remember what happens to Tori or the mom. I think she was assaulted or something. Anyway, the actress playing her mom (Tori) is one of my favorites. She did well in this movie because I couldn't stand her much! LOL
