What ending do you think will be used in the film (spoilers)

There's the "Damned If You Do" ending:

Kane rescues Jenny, gets on the helicopter, and leaves Lynch, Rific, and Shelley to die, because all he cared about was rescuing his daughter. Jenny gets extremely mad and calls Kane a fuhking traitor, and Kane tells her to buckle her seatbelt as the helicopter flies off.

and the "Damned If You Don't" ending

Kane rescues Jenny, leads her and Lynch into the village to save Rific and Shelley in the burning church. After fighting through several armed soldiers, they get to the church, and see that Rific has died. Kane, Lynch, Jenny, and Shelley make their way to the boats to try and escape, but Rific dies, and Jenny gets shot, prompting Kane to carry her to the boat. Lynch tells Kane to drop her, because she's dead, but Kane doesn't listen. Once Kane and Lynch get on the boat, Lynch is shot as Kane drives away. Kane talks to the dead Jenny and tells her about the letter he was writing to her at the beginning of the game that he never finished, as the camera pans out to the boat in the middle of the lake.

I think the 1st ending is total BS and arupt, plus it's really unfair to Lynch who helped Kane throughout the game to get his daughter back, and he just leaves him to die. The 2nd ending, though much more depressing, is probably the one they should go with, because it shows the team going out in one last blaze of glory.

The ironic part about the 2nd ending is at the beginning of the game, Kane knows he's going to die at some point, but at the end, everyone but him is dead.

They probably won't use either of those endings. I can't think of any videogame movie that completely followed the game's plot.

Kane & Lynch is pretty much a story driven game, so they can't exactly do a game about them without it being the same story as the game, can they?

They won't use either endings because both would not work well with an audience both are far too downtrodden. If anything they will use the second one and everyone but Jenny will die. Jenny will make peace with Kane as he dies in her arms after taking a bullet it for her something like that. Personally I think they should dump about 80 percent of the plot but thats just me.

And that's what sucks with Hollywood. There is always a happy ending, in some fashion or another. Only in a handful of films made by this country do you ever get a finale that makes you feel like reality just bitch-slapped you in the face.

The ending with Kane taking off with Jenny is the best. It doesn't turn the character around 360 degrees, returning to help out his pals. Its him at his essence: a manipulative man who cares about nothing but himself.

That would be cool AND original for a film.

Who says the film will be based on the game's story at all?

It could be a sequel to the game with an all new story.
They could even go pre-quel and tell the stories of Kane & Lynch before they met and lead right upto where the game starts.

How would they do that? They didnt know each other before the game, how would the story relate? If they do a sequel what is the point of K&L 2 for? Maybe they will make a game movie tie in.

As I said...

Yeh, but why would anyone make a movie a two entirely different storylines? Not linked what-so-ever, taht could easliy be summed up in a 2 min opening sequence.

They'll probably make 3 endings. The 2 that are mentioned & 1 that they made up.

The one they made up would get the theater treatment while the other 2 are DVD extras.

And I think the one they make up will be a combination of both endings but at the end Jenny lives.
