Can Nobody Make an Original Concept Anymore????

I just can't understand how this movie got green lit!?! Seriously, who, after reading the script thought, "Yeah, you know what? I see a real compelling story to be told here. This story needs to be told....again. There was not one line of dialogue, not one charecter, not one camera shot, that was remotely original!! This "story" has been done over and over and over again!! And the acting, don't get me started. I don't know how the lead in this movie even got casted cause he sucked! Everything about this movie was so lame!!!

After he pulled out the gun and did a "scarface last stand" i turned the movie off. You are right about nothing being original, and i did't feel anything for the characters. I like ving rhames and was excited to see this film, but if it wasn't for his performance i would of used it for target practice.

yeah for the whole way through this film i just kept thinking 'very low grade "Scarface" rip-off'. The lead guy even quoted the most overused line from that film. Ving Rhames was the only cool thing in this film... oh yeah and the girls at the party taking off their panties and throwing them into the panty basket...sweet!
