Chris Rock equates moose hunting to dog abuse

Disgusting.

What does Chris Rock, or his view on moose hunting have to do with this film?

reply

I always suspected that Chris Rock was a closet moose-hunting expert.

He's right, what's the problem? Killing an innocent animal for pleasure it's just as horrible as abusing dogs

reply

Moose hunting when you don't need the meat to survive is just another act of cruelty to animals.

reply

Some parts of the world kill dogs for their meat.

They breed them as a meat source, just like us Americans slaughtering millions of cows and chickens.

Not to add duck and TURKEY (Americans force the turkey's to grow fat by tying them up so they can't exercise as much).

reply

What do other countries do? Make the ducks and turkeys exercise a lot so they'll get skinnier?

Abuse isn't killing. When you hunt - you shoot to kill. Abuse isn't to kill. It's prolonged agony - therefore worst. However, what we do to cows and chicken and the meat we as american consumers buy in the store, is pretty torturous in my opinion. But that's not hunting either.

The kid in the film shot to kill, so in your mind that is not animal abuse???

reply

I'm old. Who is Chris Rock and why is what he says on the subject important?

reply

I happen to be mostly vegetarian, but I'll eat hunted food. I'm mostly against factory farming.
I happen to think hunting is one of the more humane ways to eat meat, the animals have lived normal lives. Also, at least i
It's kinda fair - the animal has a chance haha
Hunting "just because" and wasting any part of the animal is obviously horrible - But hunting definitely is much more humane than factory farming

reply

Siargao - Hoooow old are you? Chris Rock has been around a good 30 years by now - To not know who he is isn't to show your age, but your ignorance.
He's a fairly average (in my opinion) black comedian, who started in stand up and went to acting.
That being said, yeah, he's definitely not an authority on the topic - dude likely just said it as a joke in some routine anyway haha

reply

I saw Chris Rock last night for 5 minutes, that was enough.

My wife told me who he was 'cos I saw another grubby trash street talking loud mouth and mistakenly assumed he was that other black "comedian" Eddie Unrememberable from a few years back who started every third word with effing.

He's sub average, ordinary.

"loud" is his talent, only "loud".

In these circumstances ignorant is an educated place to be.

Chris Rock has a valid point, although his reasons for saying this a few years ago was because Sarah Palin (psycho animal killer) had pictures of her smiling over dead moose and moose parts all over the news, while Michael Vick (another psycho animal killer) went to jail for dog fighting. I hate both those animal-killing psychopaths.

I've already seen the worst movie ever made, so it can only be uphill from there.
