This just showed on Showtime... Good movie! I bet the book was great!

I agree! This was the best film for a long time. This resembles very much Gran Torino or Harry Brown... both of them were great as well.

Yes this was a good movie. This is one of the reasons I'm glad I have Netflix, so that I can watch a really good movie that I may have missed when 1st released.

I watched "Red" on Netflix too and I really liked it. It was very well acted, Brian Cox was great. I was a little sorry Harold died because he was better than the others. BTW the boys matched their father who was abusive (noticed the wife's bruise on the cheek) and obnoxious. I was glad Ave got as dog at the end it was good for him and Carrie was a very nice character.

I gave it a 10 despite strange anti climax!
