Besides the names of the teams being the Sharks and the Jets, what were the references to WSS? I've never seen it and seeing this movie made me realize how I really should relatively soon. I'm curious as to what else is similar besides the team names, though.

Dancing on the outside of those fences at the end of the movie was a reference as well, right? Were the Flamingos a reference at all?
