I'm So Sick Of...

I'm so sick of the whole race issue in everyone of these movies. There is always the tolken black girl who is ready to kick someone's ass and has to be held back. wtf?

get over it
it's not like it's going to change

I am sure slave owners had the same attitude in the 1800's.

First it's a comedy, everything's supposed to be out there and exaggerated and full of stereotypes, but her character is faking it. She's causing herself to act like that stereotype to "fit in" to what she thought she needed to be. It was basically saying that saying because someones black that they need to act a certain way is ridiculous

It works like that sometimes, doesn't it?

You must not have finished the movie because the confession sequence in the second half explains this very issue. Jeanette's post reveals that Aeysha (the main black girl) simply acted the stereotype in order to fit the mold and not be criticized as an "oreo" (black on the outside, but white on the inside). The movie is saying that doing this just because your skin is a certain shade is fake and all-around stoo-pid.
