I was so disapoined in this year's MTV Movie Awards

I mean, I love Sarah Silverman, but this award's show was slacking off. The segments were low on comedic flavor. Most of the presentors had bad timing on the presentations. (e.g Tyreese, Shia Lebouf and Josh Duhnamell) or Bruce Willis and his young costar from Live Free: Or Die Hard as the worst so far. And none of them even had exceptance speechless prepared, making it alot worse. It took them so long to get to the point.

The music segements weren't that impressive imo (except for a mild performance from RHIANNA for "Umbrella") but I really like Amy Whinehouse's "REHAB", but when it was performed, it was too exciting. And did anyone see how skinny she was?

But, I have to give it up to Sarah' jokes about Paris Hilton during the "Opening" segment and Jack Nickolson (sp?) for his exceptance for his Award.

Other than that, I was truly disapointed. Does anyone agree? If not, feel free to disagree.

In general, I thought the show did have its good moments--the bits with Sascha Cohen, and its fun to see Mike Meyers (albeit breif) and Jack Nicholson (albeit unrehearsed). Still,....... I wonder if this should have been the Transformers awards. Every few minutes there were promos for that movie--even back to back during one commercial break. The most anticipated summer movie was (surprise surprise) The Trasformers. Don't get me wrong, could be a good film when it comes out, but this was way much---they had those giveaways for cars from the movie too.

This was especially true during the pre-show, where save for Paris' entrance, it was all about (yep) The Transformers.

What about some of the other summer flicks?

Don't got much bang for "BUCK" like Michael "BG BANG" Bay does. Which is kinda overated. But then again, not much of the summer BLOCKBUSTERS are pretty HYPED like what they did to TRANSFORMERS.

This was the worst award show I have ever seen. The elegance is gone. Everything went downhill as soon as Sarah walked on stage in the beginning.

I'll be there for you through it all...Even if saving you sends me to heaven...

The "worst" one indeed. But it's the "runner up" to the 2006 MTV Movie Awards which Jessica Alba had hosted. That ceremony was not even funny. All of the montages were "bland". And what it me, or did tha make up that "Sexiest" performance catogory because they knew Alba was gonna get the votes?

Like I said, maybe it's just me.

The problem is, no matter how much they hyped the entire 'We've got our censors standing by, who knows what Sarah will say!' you know everyone is still reeling from the whole Don Imus fiasco and were terrified she might say something 'controversial'. Even though she had her fair share of zingers, you could tell Sarah was on a very short leash.

As for Bruce Willis, I've said it before but dude was WASTED. How badly was he slurring his words?? It's cool you still party Bruce, but try to pull yourself together before hitting the stage.

Rhianna & Amy Winehouse seemed bored and terrified, respectively. And I agree, Winehouse is waaaaaay too skinny. Girl needs to try to put milk in her cereal instead of vodka.

What exactly was happening with Nicholson during his speech? His voice sounded as though he'd smoked 1000 Cuban's before going on and he also seemed a wee bit tipsy. Of course, he may have just been confused as to why he was there in the first place.
