Who trusted this *beep* up of a director to do this picture?! He will ruin it like he ruined the afghan war. This is not just a movie about big battle scenes, it's about people and characters and he can't bring the characters to life. Just because his father was a good director doesn't make him one. Shame the book is great.

by the looks of the trailer, they hacked the movie. one of my favourite books of my childhood, i might skip this film.

i like bondarchuk. his "9 Rota" is one of my favourite war movies ever. an this "inhabitant island" is one of my favourite russina movies ever. especialu sci-fi. i tried to watch Stalker ones, *beep* that. too boring, "solaris" too. why boring movies are so great, maybe ppl are sleepin while watchin it

"9 Rota" unfortunately can be consider only a fair movie for a russian standards movie :(
