why didnt they just say its the final webisode?

carly moved to italy the show ended it makes no sense that they say icarly is gonna be taking a break

Well she was more than likely only going to be gone a couple years. They could have easily started it up again

Because OBVIOUSLY we all know they are talking about the ACTUAL show... it's supposed to be meta, yo

That's just it if its the final episode of the series why bother having them say the web show will be taking a break

So they could do something down the road of they wanted.

It is a break because Carly, Sam, Freddie and Spencer do not cease existing in the fictional world once the show ends. Carly is not moving to Italy permanently. She will be back. From having friends with husbands in the military, many base assignments are only for three years time, so after Italy, Carly will probably come back to Seattle.

Carly will be back. She'll find out Sam is in Hollywood with Nona, so her, Freddie and Spencer will travel there to bring Sam back to do more. :-) it can be another iCarly & Victorious crossover.
