HE sure as hell thinks of them as idiots. No other way to explain the awful laugh tracks after EVERY line of EVERY show he produced..even ones that aren't even supposed to be funny. IT is so insulting to viewers.

If anything, he makes the teenagers smarter than the adults. There's even a joke about it on the Dingo episode where Spencer says how he hates how TV shows always make the adults seem like such morons, and then Carly points out that he forgot to wear pants.
shareAlso, he really thinks guys are retards too. Notice how in all his male-based shows the lead's never normal. Josh was neurotic, Drake was a Douche, Kel was a moron, Kenan was selfish, yet Carly and Zoey were the "straight-men". The male leads are usually crazy.

He didn't make them smarter. He just made them act like adults because Dan couldn't take the time to learn how teenagers ACTUALLY act, so the just wrote them as adults in kids settings. And the only reason why they seem smarter than adults is because Dan makes all the adults look like idiots. But there is a huge difference between acting like (stupid) adults and being smart teenagers. They still act like idiots, and the stuff that they do on the webcast...something that is supposed to be really popular with teens...would be mocked by 8 year olds as being stupid.
This is not something that empowers the teens watching. And the point of my original post is that his shows are supposedly for teenagers, including older ones..but the humor is stuff that only 6 year olds would find funny.
