Am i just completely insensitive or something...

Loads of people on here are posting how shocking this movie was, now i only watched it once when it was first released here in the UK (i bought the dvd cos it was in the value chart) and while i can't remember a lot of the film, all i remember thinking was that it was just plain friggin stupid, badly written and over the top...
