What would your dream table look like?

Five players I wouldn't mind spending a few hours with:

Doyle Brunson
Dan Negreanu
Phil Laak
Gus Hansen
Mike Sexton

I'd be out in the 1st 5 minutes lol!

Nguyen would be entertaining. "You call, gonna be all over, baby!"

As far as going out early, you can always adopt the Ken Light strategy: post your blinds and refuse to play even good cards. With the PAD blinds, you could last quite a while. I play a regular MTT (six tables) at a private club and I've gone out on the first hand. I had a K-high flush and lost to the nut flush. That's a a hand I'd like to have back. Funny thing about that hand is that another player with with Q-high moved all in behind me. (That was a little insane.) So we wound up splitting the first knocked-out bonus (you get your buy-in returned). In my defense, you do see some whacky stuff with that format because until someone is knocked out, everyone is essentially free rolling.

My dream five for opponents:
- Dan Harrington
- Howard Lederer
- Gus Hansen
- Frankie O'Dell
- Daniel Negreanu

"Fecal gravity. The chain of command defined."

My style though is pretty loose agressive though so I would be out soon. I like to play cards like for example 8 6, or 7 10, and 8 9 suited or not and treat them like premium cards. Im somewhat successful with this style, but I need to start tightening up some. It does however afford me to bluff alot.

Jennifer Leigh one of the best? She's a former low-limit player who hasn't had any real success. Unless you count having a bunch of poker geeks thinking your hot as successful. Might as well put Shannon Elisebeth on the list cause she has a vag.

Honestly, being that I’m not rich, my dream table would be…

Donkey’
Donkey
Donkey
Donkey
Donkey

However, if I was rich, and didn’t mind risking large sums of money, my five would be…

Dan Harrington
Daniel Negreanu
Phil Laak
Scotty Nguyen
Mike Sexton

this is a no brainer for me

Phil Ivey - one of the best - if not the best
Gus Hansen - gotta have a wildcard... good personality
Daniel Negreanu - great personality, best hand reader in the game
Antonio Esfandiari - underestimated, great card reader, very tricky
Huck Seed - the kinda guy i just wanna hang with

some other close calls for me would be
Allen Cunningham (great player... too quiet)
Chris Furguson (see above)
Howard Lederer (very good player)
Phil Gordon (for his awesome books)
Dan Harrington (see above)
