For those that think the "twist" was well executed... explain this...

There are probably a lot of people out there that realize that something was "amiss" about the twist in this film... I myself realized that something wasn't quite right but it took a second viewing to "put my finger on it".
A second viewing revealed a lot of dialogue which is easy to misinterpret on the initial viewing (but understood on the second viewing), however there were problems that weren't resolved, regarding the "twist"... including how "Steve Zaun's voice" was used in the wedding clips... and other pathetic tactics used to persuade the audience that the actual killers were not really the killers... David Twohy used these "pathetic tactics" to compensate for an awful script (which he wrote himself).

After viewing the film, I was angry... I like watching a "whodunit" and trying to predict who the culprit(s) is... but this film was impossible to predict (100%)... it thrived on creating dialogue with the purpose of "throwing off" the viewer as to the identity of the killer(s)... I'll agree that most of the dialogue (between the killers when they are alone) is ambiguous... but there were several instances where the viewer should feel cheated... and one instance above all others...

... the dialogue between the killers discussing concern over whether or not the other couples were on the other island, ONLY served to "throw off" the viewer for the remainder of the film (until the "realization")... what really bothers me about this particular conversation is that this dialogue would never have occurred if the incident had taken place in real life... the only purpose of that segment of dialogue is to "fool" the viewer... and that is unforgivably bad writing... and anyone who was expecting a "foolproof" twist should feel cheated.

Of course, there are other films that are much worse (in regards to a twist)... but I was expecting more... since it's a David Twohy film.

Aside from the twist, the story had potential but never reached it... and those kayak guys were idiots (I'd have shot them myself).

I think I'd rate this film a 5.1... the same as I'd rank "Turistas"... although "Turistas" wasn't written like 10 year-old child.

Also, and this is a big one... when the 2 killers are alone... the one says "the killers didn't know they were being videotaped"... THE KILLERS ARE ALONE!!!... shouldn't the correct dialogue have been "We didn't know we were being videotaped" or more realistically... "DAMN... we were being videotaped"...

David Twohy should have altered that bit of dialogue, or not have it in the film at all... rather than put some 'crappy wordplay' on the idea.

The f'n dialogue is sooo bad!! Atrocious!!
