Tape was thrown in water? Spoilers

During the flashback scenes, after they kill the couple and are getting on the boat, Rocky empties the camera tape into the water... So one is to assume that was the tape from the "wedding" which is to clear them of any evidence right?

So how is that wedding tape still on it when the couple finds out later on they are the killers? Just need some clarification...

Also, are there two different versions to the movie? I saw it twice, but felt I missed a few scenes, especially during the flashbacks.

they threw a tape in the water, when they are unmasked as the killers it shows that the photos were on an sd card

Yup, and I sort of didn't like the way they did it. When Gina found the SD card, it was out of the slot so she pushed it in. My problem with that is that the camera LCD would have run into that card when closed, and I've never seen a camera automatically go into a View mode by pushing a card in. Small points, I know.

My CD-based camera goes into view mode if CD with something already written on it is inserted, so that may be true for some SD cameras as wemm.

Could it be that it was the tape from the couple they murdered and posed as *before* the one they just killed? They didn't need their tape any more because they're Cliff and Sydney now and have their tape?

My dvd has theater version and directors cut.
