By supporting this movie your just giving these douchebags another reason not to get a real job.

reply

XxEssballxX, by not supporting this movie your just giving these excellent producers less incentive to make another one. If you have seen it you will see how good it really is. Yes, maybe it takes NZ culture and language to the extremes, but it is one of the few NZ movies I have enjoyed, and I really hope it makes it on the world stage. The humour was great. And Upper Hutt got a mention!!

XxEssballxX: all i can say is, if i could make a living producing shows/films with stunts and comdey that makes people laugh. i would. these guys pull it off so well that i will be supporting them with this film and future films.

Also remember that Peter Jackson started off producing movies of even less quality and taste (remember "Bad Taste"?), and look what he is doing now! One of NZ's golden boys!

These boys work hard, and don't take themselves too seriously - this movie captures the Kiwi attitude brilliantly, 'though notched up a peg or two for comedic effect!

If you're not into it, you won't get it. This movie is so chocka-full of humour, but I guess a lot of it appeals more to Kiwi's who have lived thru the 70's-80's era. Am I right?

If you don't get this, you prob. wouldn't enjoy Flight of the Conchords so much either!

lol exactly my sentiments. Without doubt the worst movie I have ever seen ( well 15 mins of).
It made me cringe to be a Kiwi seeing this garbage released and expecting people to pay good money to see it.

If this is the worst movie you have ever seen you must live a pretty sheltered life. Don't have to be soo damm dramatic you know it's not the worst ever, not even close. Plus you havn't even seen the film so you should just sit in the coner and keep your mouth shut you just make yourself sound like an idiot you make NZ cringe.

Yes, there certainly have been much worse films made. It has some violence and gore, but it is so over the top looking that it isn't offensive.

The movie was very action packed, had a very good story with a few twists that you wouldn't expect. It also has a beautiful love story, and is very emotional in parts.

I don't cry during many movies, but this one does cause a few tears to run. Very emotional.
