This is NOT a terrible zombie flick.

I enjoy most zombie movies (even a lot of the bad ones.) But honestly this isn't a bad movie as horror films come. I actually enjoyed it, and would have been interested in seeing a longer version.

You could obviously tell it was a tight budget, and there was a lot of CGI and what-have-you. But I believe, overall, that the director/cast really did well with what the have (and the subject matter isn't exactly serious.)

I also enjoyed the humor/horror references peppered throughout the movies.

Go into this knowing it's a low-budget zombie film, and you shouldn't be disappointed.

It wasn't that bad.
Did anyone notice that is was a Night of the Comet remake?

reply

Yes, it was VERY similar (with more action.)

I loved Night of the Comet, too.

reply

It might (or might not) interest you to know that the Director/Co-Writer of this film has still never seen Night Of The Comet.

reply

That is surprising, because it has a lot of the same elements. The Wexler character and his group immediately reminded me of Willy, King of the stockboys, and Geoffrey Lewis' Dr. Carter.

I love to love my Lisa.

Movie was so bad it was hilarious.
I loved it. The constant race oriented comments and references were a little out of place sometimes...But it was funny and the acting was pretty good for this sort of film.

Overall, a fun and entertaining film.

Well worth watching.

Not as scary as most zombie films, but still exciting, lots of good action, some really funny scenes in there too...

reply

I also watch it with resvations, but got pretty surprised.

And I Also Have to Agree! Acting was pretty good, directing Ok, special effects(gore Effects) Ok, story also ok . Cgi sucked big time, and so did the title. Also a good cameraman would, have helped too, or a good director of cinematographie!

I agree that it's not the worst zombie more ever made. It's not trying to be Romero quality, it's just having fun. The acting is decent from all, and C. Thomas Howell and GregAlan Williams were standouts. Always liked Howell. He can make even the sh*ttiest SyFy original crap somehow watchable.

Overall, it was quite fun.

I love to love my Lisa.

Agree. The acting was not the 'I failed acting school' crap so many low budget pictures have, and the dialogue was fairly decent. It's still low budget direct to video horror, but well done considering the limitations.

I loved the movie too it's a shame it's not on netflix aanymore
