Star Trek: Beyond the Final Frontier (2007) -- 40 years of Star Trek co

I've just watched the documentary regarding that massiv "Star Trek" auction that took place a couple of months ago. Nimoy did an excellent job taking us back to how Star Trek was originally created by Gene Roddenberry and how we (new generation) will take over and cherish the Star Trek legacy.

Some scenes almost made me a bit sentimental beacuse we do get to see Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes ker discuss the old days and how an era has come to pass. Not to mention the music is perfect for each moment from the shows (Goldsmith; Maccarthy). Or like one instance where Mr Stewart himself is thinking about buying ST props, and when someone mentions "that" flute

Like I said some parts are quite heavy to watch (sentimental) because ST had it's Golden era during the early 90's and nowdays were maybe looking at a prequel at it's best, you know what i'm saying?

At the auctions end... kinda felt like the Star Trek era is over, Picard (my favorite captain) and the rest of the shows wont be coming back again

Someone made a sane remark (maybe it's good for evryone, we can now finally watch Star Trek without worrying there's a new show next week, maybe it needs it?"

Picards Flute was sold for 40 000 $
Enterprise D was sold for 500 000 $

I highly recomend the documentary..

"Wait!" "Worry" "Who Cares?"

I finally got around to watching it last night. i thought it was a really good special. My only gripe with it was that I felt this documentary focused a little too much on the auction rather than the star trek franchise itself which I was expecting. But I did really enjoy this
