I'm not usually into romantic flicks, but this was a goddamn movie!
The ending (no spoilers) is one of the best endings I've ever seen, it's so beautiful!
Amy Adams' accent kinda distracted me, though. Was she trying to do a British accent or an American influenced by British?
I LOVE Frances McDormand! I wouldn't know with precision if her accent was perfect (I'm an Argentine, what do I know :P ) but it sounded pretty good to me.
I movie was cute, but the plot was a bit dry. I did like the fashion and setting. The apartment was cool.
shareI was tickled pink by the whole movie. They kept the story moving, the costumes, music, lighting, and acting were all great! I love that it was all set in the 40's. So well done!

And I love this movie too! I guess I'm a little old fashioned, but to me this seems like proof that a good story told well can be utterly delightful, even if it's nothing particularly new and exciting.
