Very rare that I throw away a movie but...

...God that was awful.

Stopped it at the :48:00 mark and pitched it.

Another so called criticism that says nothing about the film. Admit it, you're a liar.

Yet another baby who doesn't realize that making fun of Owe Boll went out of style five years ago.

Uhh.. unless he stopped making movies all of a sudden... why would it go out of style? He's still making horrible movies... so why wouldn't it be OK to call those movies horrible still?

Because he has actually started making DECENT movies, "Tunnel Rats" was surprisingly intense and "Rampage" is an instant classic but the web is overflowing with retards who take cheap potshots at the guy because all they did was sit through crap like "House of the Dead" or "BloodRayne" and continue to bash EVERYTHING he does without even watching what he does nowadays. Are you gonna tell me with a straight face that people who hated Boll with such rage years ago still sit through his movies? Most of them are full of s**t. Fact is that a lot of people who give his movies one star on IMDb do so without even having seen the film in question, either because they hate the way he took great video games like "Alone in the Dark" and turned them into mediocre stuff nowhere near the original material, or they just bash him because it's been the "cool" thing to do for years now. There are PLENTY of user comments to his movies here on IMDb that - if you've seen the movie in question - you can tell they were written by someone who hasn't even seen the film! They are just so desperately trying to get back at the guy for what he created in the past that they no longer have an opinion of their own, they're just mindless drones continuing to behave like childish crybabies and attack anything he does even without seeing it. In my book that makes them FAR dumber than any movies by Uwe Boll.

I used to be one of those brainwashed Boll-bashers myself, I saw "Alone in the Dark", went ballistic and started attacking the guy left and right, but then I actually saw some of his recent movies and realized that if he sticks to original material the guy is actually showing some decent skills as a filmmaker. For starters there are enough positive reviews of "Rampage" and "Tunnel Rats" written by serious critics not related to the childish anti-Boll-crowd, to prove that the crazy German is actually starting to make good movies. Now before you think I'm out of my mind, my favorite filmmaker is Hitchcock, my top 5 favorite film of all times is Hitch's "Rear Window", Leone's "Once Upon a Time in the West", Cameron's "Aliens", Bergman's "Fanny & Alexander" and Von Trier's "The Kingdom" (Riget) and I highly doubt if Boll will ever make a film that will come anywhere near those, but I still recognize a decent movie when I see one, even if it's made by a former crap-fest-king like Boll.

an instant classic?!?!?! LOL! well there goes all your credibility...and tunnel rats was garbage too...the critics even recognized this and handed ull the worst director razzie for the film..face it. ull sucks. always has, always will..

reply

so you hate all his movies and they "suck", but yet you watch every single one of them???

i'm sorry but i'm NOT buying that whatsoever

the fact that you watched Rampage throws all your credibility out the window entirely.

nice try anyway

The childish Razzie-"jury" handed him a Razzie for ALL movies he had made that year, they don't give a rats ass about "Tunnel Rats" - most likely they never even saw it but since it's Boll they automatically throw in all the other movies he made around the same time as the crapfest "In the Name of the King" just because it's Boll and that's how the laughably predictable Razzie-folks work. And yes, "classic" doesn't automatically mean "Citizen Kane", you have B-classics, cult-classics and so on.

Is it such a shock that a person can be entertained by "Tunnel Rats" and "Rampage" (currently a 6.4 rating on IMDb and increasing) while at the same time loving Ingmar Bergman and worshipping Hitchock?

I guess that's how it works when people choose to have a mind of their own, instead of letting it be dictated by a rigid sheep-like anti-Boll-campaign run by a a bunch of 20-somethings still living with their mom.
