Loved it!

And I think it's hilarious that this film gets such a low score, not that IMDb ratings say all... So much hate on this film, so few actual reasons. Must be the controversy that most people just can't handle. They rather have a happy Hollywood ending. Well, Mr. Boll, I loved this film, and I honestly hope you will make many more, as I also enjoy many of your previous films. For me, this one comes very close to Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket and Platoon. Well done!

I would like to know who else thinks this film would've had a higher rating if it was directed by a different director. Is it just his name that caused the hate?

I recently visited the Cu Chi Tunnels during a trip to Viet Nam. Having descended into one of tunnels and trying to move about, I commend the film for accurately portraying the claustrophobic setting. Not saying the film is a masterpiece, but I think it did a good job on the atmospherics.

Yes, I have been there too, 3 years ago =)

It was really fascinating. Of course I just had to buy one of those Viet Cong hats at the souvenir stand.

I definitely believe it would have a higher rating if it was directed by 'any one else' but Boll.
I think most people just jumped on a band wagon without really knowing where it's going to or why it's even heading there.
Boll haters are a joke to me. Gawd he's doing it, these haters must just be jealous for some stupid reason. I find it's mostly United Staters who hate him. I refuse to call them americans, as if they are the only american people... cause they dont own America.

* sorry OP if you're a united stater but thats another topic... don't take it personal! lol

I'm a Canadian and live in North America... I'm an American of the continent. US isn't the only country here. It's sad but it will take many many many years for them to quit calling themselves americans

Anyways yea Boll has made some cool flicks. My fav is one when he was still in Germany called Amoklauf...
