Blair Witch Nausea

Maybe someone else who's seen this thing can tell me: did I watch a funky copy of this movie or are there scenes where the images are sort of "wavy", like you're watching the movie through water? Because that's what I keep seeing in close-ups and between that and some jerky camera work in other scenes, I didn't get a full 15 minutes into this weirdness before I started to feel the same kind of headache and nausea that I got from the handheld cameras in The Blair Witch Project when it first hit the theaters.

When that movie ended I was sick to my stomach and had a splitting headache. I later discovered that if I watch shaky-cam movies from off to the side of the screen, the effect is not as strong, but that's not always a convenient way to watch a movie. LOL

I may never know if I like this movie because it's so weird or hate this movie because it's so weird, because right now this movie just makes me feel sick.
