shareI'm sure Spike and the girl were unrelated, but positive that was the brother and sister in the car. This movie was riddled with over the top classic literature and gothic references. I hated the fact it was practically oozing pretentiousness.
share I didn't catch the "incest" (and I'm glad I didn't), but ... what in the heck was ol' Spike-boy doing to the boyfriend , when the girl said he was "torturing" him? It DID look kind of nasty! Oh, uh ... speakin' of "nasty" ... what was that "gourmet" dish ol' Spike-boy tried to win her heart with? Looked like a bowl of "boiled" leaves ... (I think I just "threw-up" a little, in the back of my mouth)!
I couldn't quite figure this one out ... was it a "horror" movie? A "love" story? Or, maybe, just a li'l flick about the dangers of "global warming"? Who knows? One thing is for sure ... that's an hour and ¼ - ½ that I'll never get back!
