did anyone else like this film?

Honestly for an 80 minute film and the subject matter involved its actually a pretty decent little film. Its entertaining, dark and gothic; my cup of tea in a nutshell. Others may be put off by this film but give it a chance and you might surprise yourself; the acting is good the characters are well developed (although the nameless thing was really annoying to me) but other than that it probably one of the best indie films made thus far.

anyone at all?

No. I watched it in a room full of people, and the few that stuck around until the ending were very sad they did.

I really liked it! ^.^ It always really bothers me how people are so quick to dismiss so many movies! Even if I didn't like a movie much, I find one thing to like about it. = )) At least the idea! Though some movies may have a low budget, or people may bash the acting...the ideas behind the movie are almost always worth recognizing! (IMO) Honestly...could these "critics" really make better movies?

I just needed to rant about that a little. XD Anyway, I like those elements also. And the over all story! Though the name thing I really didn't notice until the credits! Mainly because about 80% of the movies I watch, I miss the names in the beginning and end up calling them "that person" anyway. "//

I'm totally fine with people having different taste in films and all, but you can't say this had good acting. There was more than one scene where one of the actresses was smiling/laughing when it was supposed to be a serious or terrifying scene.

only YOU can prevent PG-13 slasher films

I liked it as well. Not as much as I had hoped I would but I definitely wouldn't call it a "bad" film. It's quite pretty to look at and the completely melancholy tone throughout was chilling to an extent.

The acting was the only really weak area, imo... but I still don't think any of the performances were completely unbearable.

the guy who played Spike was the best of the bunch. Second to him was the Girl.

So just by disliking this film, I'm being close-minded? Does that apply to all movies?
JOIN, or DIE.

bleh i liked it enough to come hear and read about it and see what others had too say but i just dunno how i really feel. for starters I dont think anything under 100 minutes should be called a movie but I try to give praise too those that are good in the 90 minute range. I was flicking thru channels and started watching this 20 mins late but i got the jist.. what i didnt understand is how the one girl died she just like had a heart attack and fell over or what? just like the girl at the end on the cliff she dies while she is trying to commit suicide? trying to kill spike? trying to escape? i get she fell off the cliff but then she what fell asleep and he tried to save her and accidentally hug/impales her? it's so many questions like these perhaps in bad editing that make me dislike the movie, but the premise interested me enough to watch it.

I am glad I missed the first 20 mins if there really was no talking. But ya i tell u my favorite part. In an uneventful movie without that much shocking things and or gore I found the part where she sees the web and the bowls below it for mashing the bugs up into "the food the forest yet provides" or whatever he called it to be cool. well too me that was the most shocking/interesting or disgusting part heh.

I had gone in the kitchen for a sec and missed how the girl that fell over & died got hurt or whatever but when she fell over her lesbian GF said she was sorry for hitting her. Thats all i know on that and was confused too and sure didnt want to rewind it back from my DVR because i was already bored out of my mind from the movie as it was. I am a very open minded person but this movie was soooo boring and draggy. If I had known it was a soft horror film I would have past it by. I cant even say this is even in the horror category. Actually its the worst movie I have ever seen and I have seen a whole lot of movies cause im old. I was pretty much turned off from it from the very beginning on how it started in the first place.

I did not like it. However, one thing of realism I did like....the girl getting hit on the head and getting knocked out, then later on suffering a hemorrhage was a nice touch. Too many movies you see someone taking cracks to the head and acting like it is no big deal....I did appreciate that scene...

However, on whole, this movie was bad....to me.

I agree with you about the realism of getting hit on the head. I missed the first 2/3 of the movie so I hate to say this but I thought it was a guy with a "high" voice that got hit on the head. It actually gave me the creeps when they showed her eyes. I have always heard to check the pupils of anyone who gets a head injury but this was the first time I have ever seen it. I posted some other questions on here since I missed most of the film. It held my attention but only b/c I was trying to figure out what the heck was going on and what was that porcupine creature!!
