Ten year age gap

I know their ages aren't mentioned, but watching the film, I wouldn't have guessed there was ten years difference in age between the two leads.

I thought they fitted together well, and despite some genuine criticisms on this board, I actually quite liked the film, for general entertainment value.

Why should there be ten years between them? They're graduating at the same time.

AAAAANYWAY, look at the time, I must go continue my mental breakdown away from the internet now.

I was referring to the actual age of the leads, not the age of the characters.
