Complete boxset may contain Southern Television episodes...

Just a thought - the complete boxset due to be released by Network DVD is an 11 disc set. The stories (Thames episodes) I believe will be one per disc which makes 10 discs. Hopefully the 11th disc will contain the two Southern Television stories which had 4 segments each and should be able to fit on one DVD. Don't forget that Network included Who Killed Lamb on their Brian Clemens Thriller DVD set even though it wasn't from the same production company (it had just been shown in the original Thriller run as a filler at the end of one of the seasons). However, it was always a story that researchers like myself were aware of and Network included it to their credit). Surely they will do the same her and include the two Southern stories - who doesn't want to see High Tide with Ian McShane?

No the 11th disk is the "compilation" version of "The Chelsea Murders" .. check out the single release of this story (it is two disks .. one with the 6 part episodic version and one as the edited together ITV broadcast single programme version) .. therefore 11 disks for the 10 Thames stories.

Network do NOT have the rights to Southern TV programmes ... a new deal with SimplyEntertainment (formerly DDHE) has been agreed for UK DVD releases for Southern TV programmes .. their first releases including the children's drama "Midnight is a Place" and the military drama "Spearhead" have just gone retail. Simply may release the two Southern AT stories "Dead Man's Kit" and "High Tide" in the future .. but nothing has been announced

"Dangerous Knowledge" and "High Tide" turn up fairly regularly on the Movies4men channel in the UK if that helps. (The other Armchair Thriller episodes haven't as far as I'm aware.)
