terrible show

This is not only the worst Emmys I have ever seen but maybe the worst show ever. Maybe a little too harsh but did anyone get through the whole show whthout TIVOing it. I am so happy for TIVO

This show was so boring. I turned the channel. I could not bear to watch this entire program. Programs are up for awards that I and many have never heard of. The Emmy's need to have a more entertaining show.

it was horribly paced and I skipped through most of it on my tivo

they spent ridiculous amounts of time on dumb sketches and minor awards and then fast forwarded through the major awards...the last hour felt like a final exam where you run out of time to answer all the questions so you just write whatever you can to try to finish.

they should fire whoever directed this piece of garbage

"What do you think was the significance of the Rolls-Royce?"
"I think it represented his car."

Spader winning was a joke and I like Gervais but he shouldn't have won, either.

I agree. Its up there (or is it down there?) on my list of worst awards shows ever. Everything about it (except the opening number by Stewie and Brian) just BLOWED!!!

And I didn't even KNOW those people were being "censore". I just thought someone in the control booth didn't know what they were doing. I mean, it seemed plausible with the amateurish show they were putting on. LOL.
