This film is so bad

Even for a kids comedy this film is bad. The adult actors, primarily the thieves play things way to over the top and are made to be too stupid. Their characters make even the burglars Harry and Marv from Home Alone look smart. These three guys did not have the brainpower to have successfully stolen a candy bar much less 5 mil in diamonds. The lead child actor is likeable and talented and actually not annoying given the dialogue he has to work with. Even the dog came across as talented...errr well trained.

There are a couple of scenes with the bullies that erked me. In the first confrontation the lead character is abused by the bullies, gets his bike thrown off the bridge, is stripped of his pants and at no point does he fight back. In the next confrontation he gets knocked to the ground and kicked in the torso multiple times by them, pops back up like nothing happened and lays out the main bully with one punch. How does someone get up so easily after being kicked in the ribs so many times and yet with one punch in the stomach the bully is incapacitated. At no point when he got up did the leaders buddies attempt to restrain him or do anything else before he took the swing at the main one. Instead all the bullies suddenly get an attack of cowardice and ran off with the main one clearly still in pain.
