Location?

I couldn't help noticing the beautiful location used in the last episode (6)
especially the church steeple in the background......Does anyone know where this was shot?

Shelley Conn was on BBC Breakfast a week ago and I think she mentioned it was filmed in Bristol....don't quote me on that though :)

Which scene? It was all shot in Bristol, but if you can identify the scene, I might be able to point you to a more specific place.
(Thinks) Do you mean the scene where Siobhan and Hari were on a bench reconciling with grass behind them and a tower at the top of the hill? That was the Cabot Tower on Brandon Hill in the centre of Bristol (they used various bits of that park for different scenes).

It's all filmed in Bristol...the nice parts built with slave money. The grassy place where they chat on benches is called Brandon Hill and the "steeple" in the background is not actually a steeple but Cabot Tower. More pics here: http://www.bristol-link.co.uk/history/cabot-tower.htm

Built with slave money?

Jessica's flat was in St Paul's - Victorian.
Kate's glass house was in either Sneyd Park or Westbury on Trym, and no more than 20 years old.
Siobhan's house and the surgery were in Redland - Victorian.
Trudi's house was in St Andrews - Victorian/Edwardian.
A lot of the outdoor scenes were shot in/around Millenium Square, which - as the name suggests - was built around 2000.

I'm pretty sure that slavery was abolished a little before any of those were built.

The only locations that might have been built with slave money are the Hotel du Vin which was used for various scenes and the sham castle at Blaise where they decided to hold the wedding.
