Amazing how these 'movies' get released

After watching The Evil Woods I felt compelled to join this site just to show my complete distaste for this awful travesty of a "film". It had the entertainment value of watching paint dry. The acting was atrocious, the plot was cliched and the soundtrack sucked.

For a cheap-o horror flick, the director couldnt even get decent blood or gore on screen. Talk about a complete waste of time and effort by anyone who ever came into the unfortunate contact of this film, its cast and production team.

Umm and WTF is up with the scene where the 2 topless chicks are on the dock in the lake? They turn around and the killer is right there behind them, raising an axe, music stings. Then its a wide shot and there is nobody there and the girls arent concerned. Makes ZERO sense. ZERO talent. COMPLETE WASTE OF SPACE AT MY DVD STORE!!!

Sequel please.

i agree this film is a total waste of time, if there was a choice for a 0 i would have picked it, but there wasn't so 1 is the best i can do,, this one just sucked big time.

Couldn't agree more. Wish I could personally laugh at everyone involved. I'm sorry, I don't feel bad for saying that. Some people should not be allowed to act, direct, or write movies.

All the female roles weren't hideous - looked like not much thought was put into casting. One thing that could have made this movie "a tiny bit" better was better looking female characters.

well they DO explain that it was all a dream.

but its so badly edited you have to wait for her to actually say it to realize. they shoulda had a shot of the girl waking up (like they do earlier and later in the movie). but they didnt so as you said, it goes from "OH MY GOD THEY'RE GONNA DIE!!" to them suddenly being alone on the dock as if nothing happened. lol

I liked it. I like these kind of movies anyway. Nothing like college kids in abandoned rural areas trying to survive!

If this had been released in 1980, it would by now be a cult classic slasher film.

Go back and look at Friday the 13th.....it wasn't that good, but now it's a classic!
