A perfect ending....*spoilers*

...to this movie. Let me be the first to say that I hated every single character in this movie, save for one. I wanted everyone of them to die from the first moment the movie started, save for one. And guess what, they all died. Some of them took longer than it should have (I guess so the director could continue to annoy you with these characters traits). The movie was decent for a low budget flick but god it's getting really old when every low budget horror movie that comes out, you get the bitches, the nice guy, and the annoying loud mouthed frat guy. And directors wonder why their movies get such low ratings. Simple answer: they hate the characters and can't bear to waste another minute listening to them cuss at each other, run around in circles, make stupid moves, and/or screaming in each others faces the entire duration of the film. Not everyone likes to watch movies where the main character treats the women as pieces of meat and calls them bitches the entire time while he is loud mouthed and obnoxious and drunk or high as hell and ten times worse than the women.

I'm a guy and it embarasses me to say that sadly there are guys like that out there.

Exactly. The story was pretty good but I couldn't watch it for more than 5 minutes at a time before I had to pause for about an hour so I can forget about how much I hate all the characters. In my opinion, the movie was bad but it wasn't terrible for a debut film but I've seen much better. Gore wouldn't have helped it considering there are still the annoying characters. I thought the ending was perfect because the actors killed you with their annoying nature and the killer killed them with his not so annoying ax. By the end I smiled because for once, I got my wish and every single character died. I really wish the long haired guy wouldn't have died but he did so oh well.

This is just a lesson in how to not make your movie.

Shannon was ugly too (though less so than the other two girls), and she does nothing but complain for the entire movie.

I don't understand how all the newer slasher movies can be so terrible. Go look at 80's/90's slashers. They're not exactly top-notch cinema (but of course they're fun and usually watchable), but they weren't shot with camcorders and the actors weren't all whiny little kids.

Movies like this manage to make old slashers look like the work of master filmmakers.

You guys are generous in finding anything remotely redeeming about this film.
Honestly, I don't recall ever seeing such an awful movie.

Over a year later and I can honestly agree with you 100%. This was just horrific. Terrifying. Horrendously god-awful bad.

What moviemaker need to learn is that it is NOT a good idea to write a story where you're supposed to hate everybody. The logic probably follows the lines of, "If they hate every character, they'll be happy to see them die"- when, really, if you hate all of the characters, you won't care about the movie.

OK, some of you hate the movie...but Shannon...UGLY?? Are you nuts?! She is a very pretty girl. She isn't a fashion model type, she looks like "the girl next door" and she is very pretty in my opinion.
