Dylan from episode: 'A Family Massacre'...

...is a gay porn star known as Bran Benton:

This is clearly not "reality" TV...

It is real. However, they have to use actors to portray the suspects and the victims to protect identities. They will change some characteristics of the crime, such as the age and gender of the victim (especially if they're underage), but the crimes themselves are real.

Yes, I had an actor who wanted to break through on my show too. Rus is an actor who is moving to Hollywood this weekend. I was kinda upset when I found out that I was on a team with an "actor", but I got over it. I didn't go on the show to get air time, I went on the show to prove to myself I could solve a crime.

It says he is a sports writer can you imagine if it said "gay porn star"? ........the show would not hold any credibility

Hey its Steve from the "Gutted" Episode. I was on the show with Dan/Hush. When I saw that they labeled him with student, I thought that was pretty bogus. Yes, they produce this show as a means of making money, and they cast people that they find will be entertaining. However, we were all experiencing this as if it were a real crime scene. I have no idea why they would have put their credibility in question by misrepresenting an occupation. I can assure you that this was about as real as you can get short of them killing people for real. and last time I checked, that is pretty much frowned upon.

It seems they mixed up actors along side non actor but it still makes it reality like Steve said above. They all no matter what they do in life have to try and solve this case. Maybe they felt the actors can try and blow up things more than it should or create more drama more easily but I think that as far as it goes. Still don't know they didn't just say he was a rapper.

the zombies better watch out

I was the only one on my show without acting experiece!! Only one person on my episode was trying to make into acting as a profession, but I still felt a little out of place. Once again, I wasn't there to get screen time, this was to prove to myself that I could solve a murder case (which I did). So... hopefully everyone got out of the show what they wanted.

They said I was a "stay at home mom". While it is true I have a step son, I'm not a stay at home mom. I told them I was a trophy wife, due to the fact I put my carreer on hold to join my husband while he went through Flight School for the Army National Guard. When I saw what my occuaption was, I laughed for 5 straight min! As much as I wish, my step son doesn't live with us full time.. I'm the worst stay at home mom EVER!!!
