Terrible dialogue and cadence

Alexis Bledel in particular was very cringeworthy with the dialogue. The breakup scene with McAvoy sounded like something out of a teen movie where the characters were dressed in period clothing. She has the face of a classic beauty from that era, though, so I see why she was cast.
