Does Kelly Macdonald talk a lot in this movie?

I just watched the trailer, and MY GOD her voice is annoying.

She has a reasonable amount of dialogue...her voice is right for her character, and she gives a great performance, but if the trailer annoyed you you should probably skip the movie - because you won't judge it on its own terms; it will just annoy you.

She has more lines in this movie than Keaton (well to me she does). But if you find her voice to be annoying than I wouldn't recommend that you watch the movie, because her accent is a small part of her character.

Haha i love her voice and her accent :)

She has a wonderful accent. Haven't you seen her in "Gosford Park" and "The Girl in the Bar" and all her other movies? She has a much more "real" feel than most of your glam girls from Hollywood, which is obviously why they chose her for the part in this movie.

reply

"Girl in the cafe" not "in the bar".

I don't remember her having an accent in "No Country for Old Men" set in West Texas. She played James Brolin's wife

She had a rather heavy southern drawl in No country! I loved it.
