Not only is she oblivious to the interest of men, but she's supposed to be a devout Christian and she doesn't know the difference between an angel and a ghost? I'm an athiest and even I know that angels aren't dead people, and belief in ghosts is sacriligious.

I found this poignant because about half way through I said to my husband, "A girl THAT cute would have men sniffing after her 24/7. I have a hard time believing she doesn't know when a guy is hitting on her."
I thought the angel/ghost thing was a little too precious. A lot of her behavior was a little too precious, actually.
I don't see anything in the movie telling us she is unaware of the interest of men. I see that she is reserved - recovering from her husband - and tries to fend off the interest of men, i.e. at the Xmas party.
"I am like Cryptonite to men. Cryptonite dipped in cellulite!"
