new series vs. old shorts

Personally i think the original shorts for saturday night live were a million times better. the writing, the voices, everything about the original shorts was amazing. I looked forward to this for such a long time, and then i saw this...

It isnt TERRIBLE, But its definitely a huge downgrade from the originals.
couldnt they atleast get the original voices? andy richter was pretty awesome as drinky crow. I think someone should tell tony millionaire to fix this new series. get to it folks.

I'll admit billy west was okay, but for drinky crow he sounded way too average. and i didnt hate the whole thing, but i feel like they had to push to make this story line a full 15 minutes.

Billy West sounds more like the comic strip version to me.

I like the new series a lot, but I have to go with SNL's Maakies as the better series.

It's actually not Billy West doing the voice, they got Dino Stamatopoulos (the creator of Moral Orel) doing the voice now, but in interviews with Tony Millionaire the creator he said they originally were gonna have Billy West, but he couldn't do it anymore or something.

He also said that Drinky Crow was voiced by Andy Richter in the original shorts, I always thought that sounded like him but didn't think it was actually him for some reason. Also then-SNL head writer Adam McKay (who went on to become Will Ferrell's writing/directing partner, he directed Anchorman and Step Brothers) did the voice of Uncle Gabby in the SNL shorts
