I was being lazy this morning lying in bed watching tv, just browsing channels when i noticed it was on, so i thought i would give it a go, the episode was Animus.

About a minute in a caption appeared on screen which read Oldham, England.

Guess where im from?

Not sure why an American TV show would set scenes in an English working class northern town, maybe someone working on the show is from Oldham? There are quite a few famous faces from my hometown of Oldham, but Hollywood it aint lol.

But how odd is it that the one time i decide to watch it i see that!

Sanctuary is Canadian. But I'm glad you recognized your village.

ah right, i did notice there are a few canadians in it.

and Oldham's a town, not a village lol, got about 220000 people living here.

Amanda Tapping was born on Rochford, Essex, but moved to Canada while little.

Sanctuary is also made in Vancouver, Seefee just optioned the rights to air in conjunction with the Canadian equivalent Space.
