Question about Bigfoot

I was watching this series for the first time and I got through 3 seasons. I liked it up until Season 4. I managed to get through some of the episodes but I found most of them painful. I felt the show was missing a dynamic without Kate. I saw the episode where Bigfoot's brain is scrambled and he attempts to blow up a convention. At the end it is shown that he has gone back to the group. I'll be honest, I couldn't finish the series. It was such a let down towards the end. What happened with him? Did he really turn against Magnus or was he undercover? I know he's dead so I assume one of the sides snuffed his candle.

I stated that in my original post. I did not finish it because I really started to dislike the show. Most of the characters that I liked were dead or off the show and I didn't enjoy the Sanctuary against the world story line.

Or I haven't seen it since it aired and I THINK I remember how Bigfoot went native and then winds up on Helen's side anyway but I'll let someone who reads the fanpages fill in the details.

I haven't watched it since it first aired, but I remember him standing up with the good guys when they were being stuck in those concentration camps. I think it was the second to last episode that he was gunned down by the US Military forces sent to control all the abnormals coming out of Hollow Earth after Praxis fell. It was a terribly sad and Noble death.
