4 hours long and wanting more

As the title says, this was 4 hours long and I could have watched another 2. Very well time-lined and beautifully done.

It really was! At first my plan was to just skim through it in an hour or so and send it back to Netflix. Then I got sucked in and couldn't do that. But I still thought I'd bail out once they got to their "has-been" era. That didn't happen either, and I discovered that they still made good music after they dropped off the charts (I'm listening to "The Last DJ" album right now, which I had never heard of before watching the doc, and it's really good).

I love Tom Petty but when I saw this film was almost four hours I freaked. I barely made it through the three hour Eagles documentary. I decided if worse comes to worse I will watch this on my weekend off and will watch it over two nights if it gets to long. This film was so interesting and so well edited I easily sat there the full four hours. Peter Bogdonavich who is one of my favorite directors did an outstanding Oscar worthy job.
