So how did it affect your view of Tom?

We get a pretty in depth, personal view of Tom in this doc. Did anybody's perception of Tom change? To me, he comes off as a genuine guy. Obviously a laid back guy by nature but hard working, sincere about his craft and far more savvy than others would think. Not quite cut throat but can make difficult decisions for the better of the group. Seems like a good guy overall. As I always imagined. Also, a massively underrated songwriter. I rate him higher in that spectrum than I ever had before.

I always imagined him as nice, laid back, & real & I'm so happy the doc proved me right! I will always love him & his music!

I was unaware of the stands he made against themusic companies. My opinion of him became even higher.

I never knew how much of a cutthroat guy he was, especially when it came to his relationship with the music industry. I guess the song The Last DJ is about this side of his personality. Obviously he's a genuinely good person, but when things come to a head Tom will unleash hell on you, and he'll leave you for dead. He seems to have great stamina in regards to holding out in his battles to get what he wants. And I also love how he steals people from other bands. He knows it's wrong but he has to do what he has to do.
