New episodes in September!

I know it was mentioned in another post but I thought I'd let everyone know in case they haven't read it...

According to Doug's myspace bulletin I recieved today, he writes:

"Fight Quest on demand/ 3 new episodes coming out this summer on Discovery! Um yeah that's all I've really got to say about that! I think there are only a few episodes on demand right now, but im guessing they'll add more! We fly out to Thailand in April so keep an eye out for that episode sometime this summer!"

I don't know why there's only three episodes coming out but it's a start for the second season.

That seems to be the question every fan of the show is asking and I finally found out today from Doug on myspace. The new episodes were filmed in the spring/summer months and they will be debuting in September on Discovery. Finally!

This is what he wrote me back on myspace...

"As far as I know the new eps of Fight Quest should still be coming out sometime in september! Thanks for reading this, and all my best! Doug"

He also has a fight coming up at The Tropicana in Atlantic City on September 12th.

So far I heard from Doug's post on myspace that he and Jimmy already went to Thailand, then India to train in Kalari Payattu, and then to Hong Kong to tape for the show. But I haven't heard about anything else except for those three destinations.

I wrote to Doug today on his myspace page again to see if what he wrote was ever finalized. (that the new season will start this month) So when or if he reponds I will post it here. Hopefully the new espisodes will air soon because I can't wait much longer!

Doug just wrote me back today and this is what he replied...

"The Muay Thai episode of the show will air on the 26th of this month at 9pm....not sure if they'll have repeat showings at any other time or not!

Hey guys!
Discovery Channel is showing two NEW episodes this Friday night (9/23)! Fight Quest: Thailand is on Friday night at 9PM and Fight Quest: India is on at 10PM. They’re also showing repeats on Wednesdays during the day at 12pm and 1pm.

The 2 new episodes were on last Friday in Chicago about the same time the debate was on. Discovery channel reran them later that night. I think that they will have a FQ marathon this Friday.
