Dont get me wrong...it really doesn't matter that much anyhow...but Sunny took that Little Secret to her grave...thats all I'm saying.
The film has made a mistake of not mentioning this to convince the likes of you -- the father took paternity tests for the court. The result proved he was her biological father.
That's why the specialist in court explained the throwback gene was plausible. The only clue he had the father taking tests in the film is "I've been studying the Laing family's genes". He was referring to paternity tests and family trees, but I guess it was too subtle for some viewers?
I do know that he did those "Tests" (I did some Research myself) all I'm saying is that they where apparently worth shxxxt these days. Besides Blood-Tests aren't really sure anyway...there are -what- Four blood types? So what does that prove? Nothing really...a Genetic Test would've been the only real proof...had Never been done! Anyways....Sad Story from a sad period of Time...
