Throwback Genes Not Mentioned?

I can't remember if it was ever **confirmed** in the film or the actual true story that this was the inevitable case, but I've heard people say it was. Can someone tell me if the true Sandra ended up having those throwbacks after all?

We can only assume that there was a black ancestor somewhere in the family. There's no way of truly knowing without DNA testing her parents or her brothers. But her parents are dead and they didn't have DNA testing back then. Her brothers refuse any contact.

The subject was brought up in court but everyone in the room was so appalled at the idea that they might have African ancestors that the subject was dropped.

At the time that this story took place, DNA testing was in its infancy. I don't know if Sondra or her brothers ever took a test. I doubt that her brothers would ever want to do so.

You could try searching her on-line to see if she took the test.

The film doesn't show it, but in real life, her father took a paternity test for the court. The result proved he was her biological father.

it wasn't a paternity test, it was a blood test. The only thing the test proved is that he has the same blood type as her father..
