Ugh....clearly the previous responses were not by Black people. It doesn't matter who she's with, what her kids look like is kind up up in the air. Her black or white genes could be dominant. Heck, I come from a "fully Black"" family but yet I have cousins with green eyes, dirty blonde hair, and white skin. Others have smooth dark skin, and yet others have red hair and white skin. My great grandmother had blue eyes, and as my mom ages hers have turned blue as well (no, not cataracts she's checked).
So, if she was with a white guy or a Black guy....she could have black or white kids. That's just the way it is.
Funny, people like to think there is a certain "look" of being mixed, when most mixed people tend towards one appearance or the other. Hell, our President is only HALF Black, and nobody even acknowledges that he was born and raised by a WHITE woman. His own mother!
Gotta love the remnants of the old "1 drop rule". Yay for relics of hate and segregation!

I find it amusing that people call Obama the first "black" president or the first African-American president.
The facts are as follows:
His mother was a Euro-American and his father was a Sub-Saharan African. HIS FATHER HAD ABSOLUTELY NO COMMON EXPERIENCE WITH AFRICAN-AMERICANS. HE DID NOT SHARE THE SAME HISTORY WITH THEM. Furthermore, Obamas step-father was INDONESIAN, AND HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH HIS MOTHERS PARENTS. This is not the common experience of the so-called "black" American. Obama has next to NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THEM. It is hilarious that he is the first "non-white" president, yet the blacks want to jump on him and claim him when his life in Hawaii and Indonesia was NOTHING LIKE THEIRS. Obviously, he felt that (correctly) he had to pander to them for his career. And,unfortunately, he chose the wife that he did. He probably felt convicted to that "choice". It would have been far more interesting if he had been liberated enough to marry a Hawaiian or an Indonesian.

What does this have to do with the movie? I swear, people will find ANY excuse to talk smack about Obama. He identifies as Black. You need to respect that and not assume he is "pandering".
Also, "And,unfortunately, he chose the wife that he did."? Um. What? Michele is wonderful and he CLEARLY is in love with her. You don't marry someone as a social experiment.

Obama is a fool. Nobody in their right mind would have married such an awful, ugly woman who can't even speak Standard American English properly. I don't care what schools she went to. All I have to hear is her ugly voice and incorrect SAE and I snap her off the TV. She's a poster child for why EOP/AA were FLOPS!
Obama married her because he thought that if he married ANY other ethnicity, his political ambitions would NEVER have gotten him to the presidency. Pathetic.
She had her own agenda as well. Older, unattractive, and wanting to suck his mother's genes into the black miasma. Time for black people to get over that. Do your own thing and stop trying to hang onto the coattails of biracial/multi-ethnic people. That's been going on for over 6 decades, time for it to stop.
If Obama had presented himself as he truly is, he could have made a greater contribution to the eradication of racism---instead he presented himself as the first "black" president. I have no respect for him at all. In the last census, he checked "black". Stupid! All he accomplished was reinforcement of the racist ideas of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Obama dated nothing but white (not mixed race, Hawaiian, or any one else none white) women before Michelle. In fact, the last woman he dated advised him if they broke up, he should date a black woman and he would face less setbacks in his professional life. I also think, as a white woman, a nonblack woman would never carry him as far as Michelle did personally and professionally in the beginning of their marriage. Obama has a career built on the backs on black women (his wife and Oprah).
