When you're a pathology resident -

Are you permitted to act like a total ass and bully your coworkers? That seemed over the top, given the seriousness of the environment. Not that a pathologist can't have a sense of humor & joke around, but I know my PhD clinical psych professors don't go around smacking each other in the head with the DSM. Also, the "slow," dorky doctor - how "slow" can you really be if you're a forensic pathologist? They don't just hand out medical degrees.

Minor complaints, I suppose, but it irritated me enough to take me out of the movie. I won't go into how easily the main guy is coerced into committing murder;) I did like the gore, though.

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

The sheer gore you deal with day after day, hour after hour, takes some getting used to. In 1st yr anatomy, and the first month on any rotation with lots of gore (burns, pathology, surgery) behavior away from the patients can be pretty crazy, Compensation decompression or displacement, I;m sure theres a psych word for it. Remember the surgeons in MASH?

Bottom line, no practicing M.D. would want a video of his 8 yrs after college before entering practice. The off hours

Yea, I thought that was ridiculous that the professor said nothing to these goons for their actions while working.
