How come Rahul didn't use his own wife, who was a model, in his shows? Did Janet stop working after she got married to Rahul? She was a show stopper in one show, and then Rahul asked her to marry him, and then after that you never see her do any shows...it would seem that marrying Rahul,a fashion designer would be a very convenient link to getting more jobs.

This is never explained but I gather Janet was not interested in modeling anymore because she knew she didn't have what it took to be a SUPER model. Janet and Rahul getting together to me represented two people who've realized they could never have and be what they wanted so they decided to just be there for each other.

I assume she continued modelling but she probably did not become a popular model. The entire focus of the movie shifted towards Meghna and her rising up the ranks in the industry. As Meghna was experiencing the dark phase, Shonali too got less focus.
It is unfortunate that Janet's character didn't have much relevance to Meghna's story. But she was very convincing in the few scenes she had.

sharewell, Janet was shown as a b-list model who couldn't make it to the top. so it's obvious that after marrying Rahul she thought she better quit because he's a rich guy. and i too agree with what other people said. janet is not the main focus of the film. so the director didn't think it was important to show what was happening in janet's life. but somehow i keep reading in the reviews that fashion is the story of three models, is it really???
